<p>The water opossum, aka yapok, is a marsupial and is the only living member of its genus, Chironectes. They can be found through southern Mexico, down to Central and South America. These are the only known living marsupial where both genders have a marupium (pouch). Previously, only the thylacine (Tasmanian [&#x2026;]</p>
