<p>The round-tailed ground squirrel lives in northern Mexico, Baja California, and the southwest U.S.; including Arizona, Nevada, and California. They live in various parts of the Yuma, Mojave, and Colorado deserts where their habitat includes extreme temps and very low humidity.
