<p>The mangrove snake, aka gold-ringed cat snake, hails from Malaysia, Myanmar, Cambodia, Indonesia, the Philippines, Thailand, Singapore, and Vietnam. These snakes prefer lowland rainforests and mangrove forests, close to water.
