<p>The grey falcon is most likely the rarest falcon species in Australia. These beautiful birds of prey face the threats of habitat loss and destruction at the hands of farming and ranching; hunting; trapping; invasive species; <a class="glossaryLink" aria-describedby="tt" data-cmtooltip="&#60;div class=glossaryItemTitle&#62;competition&#60;/div&#62;&#60;div class=glossaryItemBody&#62;Competition is most typically considered to be the interaction of species that strive to acquire a common resource that is in limited supply, but more commonly can be termed as the direct or indirect interaction of organisms that leads to a change in health when the organisms share the same resource.
